Our Chrome Extension Philosophy

We believe that there is some essential functionality that should be available to every one on the internet for free. Basic things like taking notes, saving bookmarks, managing passwords, creating and managing a todo list etc. should be free, accessible and reliable.

Although a lot of companies are offering some excellent products for these features, most of them suffer from one or more of the following shortcomings:

- they are not free
- for those that are not free, there is no assurance of the long term availability
- information is locked with a particular vendor in a proprietary format

We have tried to create chrome extensions that help people do this basic stuff without being locked into any proprietary format or with a particular vendor. Hence our extensions store information in the cloud (currently in Google Drive, more options — including storing on your own servers — are coming soon). All the information is stored in open formats so that you can take out your data when ever you decide.
